We make biochar

Wood and agricultural residue goes through a controlled, low-oxygen burn and comes out as stable carbon. We screen it, moisten it for safe handling, and sell it by the yard, ton, super sack, or bag.

We process partner feedstock

Farms, orchards, sawmills, forestry crews, and food processors send us organic residue they would otherwise pay to get rid of. We convert it, and we can send a share of the biochar back.

We keep the records

Every batch is logged from feedstock source to finished product. Buyers and researchers can ask for the batch record and whatever lab analysis we hold for it.

How the feedstock loop works

  1. Feedstock comes in

    A partner delivers brush, sawdust, prunings, or residue, or we arrange pickup. We log the source, the type, and the approximate moisture.

  2. Drying and sizing

    Green material is seasoned or dried and cut down to a size the process handles well. Very wet material takes longer, and we plan for that.

  3. Pyrolysis

    The material is heated with very little oxygen. The gases burn off as process heat, and the solid carbon that remains is biochar.

  4. Back to the land

    Biochar is cooled, screened, and either returned to the partner, blended into compost, or sold. The batch record travels with it.

Terms depend on the material, the moisture, and the distance. We will confirm what a specific stream is worth to us, and what a partner can expect back, before anything moves.
